Who Wore It Better… Willow Shields or Ashley Madekwe?

Willow Shields was the first to wear this Self-Portrait Resort 2015 asymmetrical crop top with matching culottes in a striking, graphic square print while attending the 2015 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards back in March, before Ashley Madekwe wore the same look during Comic-Con last month. I loved how both sharpened up the look by making it appear like a cut-out jumpsuit. Despite stepping out of the box with contrasting accessories in a purple hue, Ashley wins for me for the overall chic styling and polish she gives to this two-piece look.

Who Wore It Better… Shailene Woodley or Natalie Dormer?

Shailene Woodley wore a Mary Katrantzou Pre-Fall 2015 frock while promoting ‘Insurgent’ on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman’ back in March, before Natalie Dormer wore the same dress earlier this month while attending the ‘Game of Thrones’ panel during Comic-Con.
I had to go with Shailene on this one because I much preferred her shoe choice.
Shortening the dress was also a good call as the original length comes across as mumsy on Natalie.

Who Wore It Better…Irina Shayk or Rita Ora?

Just like Olivia Palermo and Natalia Vodianova , Irina Shayk and Rita Ora wore the same dress within a short space of time of each other during Paris Couture Week.
Irina wore her Versace dress on Monday (July 6) while attending the Vogue Paris Foundation, while Rita donned hers for the first auditions of the X Factor 2015 on Wednesday (July 8).
Both ladies made this sexy dress work for them, but Irina’s leggy display and footwear win this for me.

Who Wore It Better…Karolina Kurkova or Kylie Jenner?

Karolina Kurkova was the first to wear this leather Balmain Pre-Fall 2013 mini to the IWC FilmMakers dinner back in May 19 last year, before Kylie Jenner gave the piece its second run-out during the 2015 Billboard Music Award exactly a year later.
While I prefer Kylie’s open shoe choice, the overall presentation – belt, hair and fit – from Karolina possess much more finesse so she wins for me.

Who Wore It Better… Kim Kardashian or Olivia Palermo?

I never would’ve thought that Kim Kardashian and Olivia Palermo would ever wear the same clothes, but they did when they both donned this Christian Dior Spring 2015 skirt.
Kim wore it first while attending her book signing, while Olivia wore hers earlier this month to the M.A.C Cosmetics and Giambattista Valli Floral Obsession Ball.
Before we even get to the styling (of which Olivia’s far superior), Olivia wins for selecting the skirt in a size that fits.

Who Wore It Better…Kerry Washington or Cheryl Fernandez-Versini?

Kerry Washington wore this Adam Lippes Pre-Fall 2015 tuxedo dress to the SNL 40th Anniversary Celebration back in February, before Cheryl Fernandez-Versini wore the same look to the X Factor London auditions earlier this month.
Someone of Kerry’s stature should’ve knocked this out of the park, but the execution is so poor resulting in the styling falling way short.
Cheryl on the other hand nailed the look from head to toe with her contrasting footwear and sleek appearance. This was an easy win for the X Factor judge.

‎Sometimes it all just comes together and that is the case with Stanley Ekwelike’s new movie AUTUMN LEAVES. Like the writer once said, “good movies are easy to make” and this one was.

AUTUMN LEAVES which appears to be the next Nollywood hit coming to the cinemas soon, is a result of a combination of factors: A deep sensitive and disturbing script by Reginald Ebere, Passionate performances by Stanley Ekwelike, Eucharia Anunobi, Adesua Etomi, Belinda Effah, Okey Uzoeshi ,Zubby Michael, Amarachi Igidimbah, Henry Uchegbu, Ejine okoroafor and Big Brother stars Melvin Oduah,Beverly Osu combined with the expertise and excellent directing of award winning ikechukwu Onyeka.

The movie which is a soul searching journey into the sometimes dark, sometimes forbidden area of same sex relationships manages to thread “this” terrain without being offensive and actually is pleasing to the eyes, the ears, the sensitivities and sensibilities of those who consider lesbianism and homosexuality offensive.

The script written by Reginald Ebere is a masterclass in story telling, weaving a tale of two superstar gay musicians Simon (Stanley Ekwelike) and Cindy(Adesua Etomi) whose parts cross when their managers decided to bring them together in an arranged relationship in order to shore up their public personae and build up their fan base. The arrangement which appeared to be heading towards disaster when the two move in together gradually unfolds into a reluctant friendship until suddenly they both realize that they were not really gay after all but have been made to believe they were by their environment and their upbringing.

Supported by a crew led by award winning producer and costumiere CHIEMELA nwagboso , talented Make up artist OGE Eze. And a special appearance by an international make up artist Dave Sucre Autumn Leaves looks to be a winner and the break out movie of this season.

Who Wore It Better… Anne Hathaway or Emmanuelle Chriqui?

Anne Hathaway wore a Solace London eye-catching raspberry-hued dress to the 19th annual Art Directors Guild Excellence In Production Design Awards back in January, pairing the minimalist dress with an Antonini Aurea white-gold diamond-set cuff and white pumps.
Metallic Jimmy Choo ‘Ari’ pumps were Emmanuelle Chriqui’s footwear choice when she wore the same dress in white to the ‘Killing Jesus’ premiere last month.
I know many of you didn’t like the dress to start with and will be looking for the none of the above voting responds, but I preferred Anne’s look for the colour and the styling.

Who Wore It Better… Kerry Washington or Michelle Jenner?

Kerry Washington wore a graphic floral print Oscar de la Renta frock cut with feminine fullness, with a rise-and-fall hemline, to the Baby2Baby Gala back in November, styling the look with Christian Louboutin ‘Justinodo’ sandals .
A few months later, Michelle Jenner wore the same dress to the Fotogramas Awards.
Kerry wins this for her shoe choice alone. A dainty dress needs a dainty shoe, so she mastered the styling of this look.
