Justin Timberlake rocked the MTV
Video Music Awards on Sunday night, performing a medley of old and new songs.
The singer was joined onstage by *NSYNC for “Girlfriend” and “Bye Bye Bye.”
Timberlake also sang new hits such as “Mirrors” and “Suit & Tie.”
Jimmy Fallon presented the star with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award after Timberlake finished his set.
Lady Gaga defended One Direction after they heard boos at the MTV Video Music Awards, approaching the band backstage to offer her support and saying she felt like storming from Sunday’s awards to protest their harsh treatment.
The pop star, whose “Applause” opening featured (deliberate) booing as part of the performance, was furious about the actual boos she heard when One Direction later took the stage to accept an award.
“I want to leave right now,” Gaga can be overhead telling the boy banders in footage from one of MTV’s live cams. “I don’t want to stay anymore because I don’t want to be in a room where people are booing.”
She added, “I just want to tell you that you deserve every bit of success that you have.”
Eminem announced a new album — MMLP2 (for Marshall Mathers LP 2 ) — with a Beats By Dre headphones commercial during the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.
It will debut on November 5.
According to the rapper’s website, a single called “Berzerk” will be released on Tuesday.

The singer took the stage as a nun before her back-up dances ripped off her habit.

District Attorney “racist,” and ranting, “f**ck the system” over his continued legal troubles.
As previously reported, the performer went on a massive Twitter tirade last week, blasting his rivals, and complaining about his previous community service hours getting thrown out.
Now, Brown is vowing to put it all aside.
“I’m truly happy to have my fans and life. Even wit the bs. Can’t make a leader.. They have to be chosen by the
people. #iju love…” the singer tweeted late Sunday.
He continued, “The community service isn’t a problem anymore. Ill do what ever duty I need too to [sic] fulfill
my requirements as a man and a leader.”
