Ariana Grande reached out to fans on Twitter after news broke of her split from Big Sean , saying she appreciated their support and assuring them that she was doing OK. “I love u babes so much,” the singer tweeted early on Tuesday. “You’re a bunch of angels honestly. Your love/care is appreciated so much. I’m good I promise.”
Interestingly, she later deleted the tweet.
As i previously reported, Grande and Sean announced their breakup on Monday. The split is described as amicable, with the two citing their busy schedules as the major reason behind the end of the relationship. “They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends,” their reps told us in a joint statement.
Ariana Grande and Big Sean are breaking free. The fan-favorite couple have split after eight months of dating, their reps confirm exclusively to Us Weekly .
“They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends,” their reps tell Us in a joint statement. “We kindly ask that the respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time.”
Insiders close to the two say they very quietly and amicably ended their relationship a few weeks ago. “They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year,” one source tells Us.
Ariana Grande opens up about family, fame and freakiness in a new Billboard cover story.
“I think people see me as a little cutesy thing, but I’m literally the most sardonic person you’ve ever met,” she tells the magazine.
It all started when she was “a very weird little girl.” Wow.
What was she like?
“Dark and deranged. I always wanted to have skeleton face paint on or be wearing a Freddy Krueger mask, and I would carry a hockey stick around,” recalls Grande. “I was like a mini-Helena Bonham Carter .”
Bangin’! The power trio of Jessie J, Ariana Grande , and Nicki Minaj teamed up to treat audiences to a new single, “Bang Bang,” which debuted with quite the bang on Monday, July 28. Jessie J, 26, enlisted the two talents for the track, with Grande, 21, contributing her powerhouse vocals and Minaj, 31, spitting a verse that perfectly completes the song.
“Bang Bang” is the first single off of Jessie J’s upcoming third studio album, due out later this year.
Ariana Grande opens up about her relationship with her late grandfather — and being estranged from her dad — in the September issue of Seventeen.
Grande, who completed the interview before her grandfather’s passing, shares that he boosted her confidence growing up because, “He was like, ‘You’re a star, I know in my heart you’re going to make this family so proud. You’re a blessing.’ And I was like, oh my god, and started crying, and I trusted it.”
Ariana Grande showed off her playful girly side (with the appropriate hint of sex appeal) for V Magazine’s spring music issue through a series of beautiful black and white photos. The singer also touched on a number of topics, including her hair, her career, being vegan, her idol Madonna and more.
“I use my hair as a mask, as a shield. I hide behind it and it’s what keeps me me. Some people make fun of me for it, but I don’t know who those some people are, so I don’t care,” Grande, who openly revealed that she wears extensions because of all the dye jobs she’s had, said.
Ariana Grande does NOT have a cocaine problem, despite a completely FALSE rumor started by Perez Hilton.
On Sunday, the blogger began barraging the singer with faux concern on Twitter, writing, “Are you okay? I heard someone saw you doing cocaine at a party! Stay away from drugs Ariana!!!”
Perez also tweeted to Grande’s brother Frankie, “Please make sure Ariana stays away from cocaine. I’m hearing awful things about what she’s been doing!”
He even wrote to Nickelodeon, where the actress works on “Sam & Cat,” saying, “Hopefully you guys can help her before it’s too severe!”
But Perez’s claims are 100 percent untrue , and Grande is planning to sue the blogger for his false allegations.
A close Grande source tells me exclusively that Perez’s claims are “all lies” and “not true.”
In fact, we’re told the star is so anti-drugs that she’s even afraid to take over-the-counter medication like Tylenol.
Music insiders speculate that the cocaine allegations may be a “vendetta” by Perez, who allegedly tried to be Grande’s manager.
He “approached her and got rejected,” says a close family confidant, who feels his attacks against her and her fans are “personal.”
The blogger’s claims may also be retribution for some of Grande’s fans allegedly writing mean comments about the blogger’s son.
Perez even tweeted to Grande, “For every day your fans continue to spam me on social media, I will continue to tweet you. I know you see my tweets. I win! :-)”
I heard from the Grande confidant that she’s already “hired litigators to sue him for slander.”
Ariana Grande has expressed sincere concern for Justin Bieber in the wake of the teen superstar’s alleged egging incident and DUI arrest .
Speaking to Mix 104.1 at a pre-Grammys radio event, Grande said she’s upset by the amount of people mocking Bieber when he’s clearly very troubled.
“I think it’s really serious. I’ve seen tweets of people making fun of the mug shot and all this stuff, and it’s so ignorant,” she said.
She continued, “It’s gotten to a point where I just want him to be okay. It’s this very serious thing. And it’s not just like a kid who’s, you know, screwing around. It’s dangerous. It’s very serious and upsetting.”
“And I don’t think it’s something to make fun of anymore. I don’t think it’s funny anymore,” said Grande.
The songstress went on to add that Bieber is “the most visible and yet isolated human being I’ve ever met.”
Ariana Grande took to Twitter on Thursday night to plead for “more compassion” in the wake of an onslaught of online criticism towards Justin Bieber .
As I previously reported, a number of celebrities tweeted jokes and disparaging remarks in response to Bieber’s DUI arrest , with other users helping to make ”#DeportBieber” a trending topic.
Grande, however, offered a different perspective.
Without mentioning Bieber by name, the actress-singer wrote on Twitter:
Ariana Grande has opened up about how television destroyed her natural locks, forcing her to wear “more fake hair than every drag queen on earth combined.”
Apparently, critics have been blasting the singer and Nickelodeon actress over her appearance, and on Sunday she took on the topic in a Facebook post.
Grande began by writing, “Since people give me such a hard time about my hair I thought I’d take the time to explain the whole situation to everybody.”
“I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first 4 years of playing Cat… as one would assume, that completely destroyed my hair. I now wear a wig on Sam & Cat.”
Grande continued: “My real hair is back to brown and I wear extensions but I wear it in a pony tail because my actual hair is so broken that it looks absolutely ratchet and absurd when I let it down. I tried wigs, they looked RIDICULOUS. Tried a weave because I am working on a new project and want to try some different looks and literally wanted to rip my scalp off.”
“So as annoying as it is for y’all to have to look at the same hair style all the time, it’s all that works for now (AND I’m comfortable for the first time in years)…. And trust me, it’s even more difficult for me to have to wait forever for my natural hair to grow back and to have to wear more fake hair than every drag queen on earth combined.”
“So PLEASE gimme a break about the hair (or just don’t look at me lol). IT’S JUST HAIR AFTER ALL. There are way way way more important things. Love y’all very much.”
