Joan Rivers is making jokes about Lindsay Lohan’s miscarriage revelation.
Given that the comedian has made cracks about everything from Jerry Sandusky and Whitney Houston’s death to Chris Brown beating Rihanna and the Holocaust , it’s not entirely surprising.
For good measure, while speaking with a paparazzo, Rivers also dissed Kirstie Alley and commented on the continuing Tori Spelling drama .
Lindsay Lohan ’s eight-part documentary series “Lindsay” is set to debut March 9 on OWN , and the network has released the first sneak peek picture of the project ( see above ).
“Lindsay” will follow the embattled star “on her journey through recovery following a very public period of crisis,” according to OWN.
The network promises a “no-holds-barred account” that will give viewers an “unflinching look into the life of one of the world’s most sought-after celebrities.”
In the premiere, Lohan will be seen moving into a New York hotel and looking for a new apartment — accompanied by a new personal assistant and sober coach.
A number of false rumors have been swirling around the reality show since it was announced.
It will be interesting to see how the actual series progresses.
Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton ‘s friendship is so 2006.
The actress, 27, and the musician, 32, both turned up to the same Super Bowl bash on Thursday, Jan. 30—and the former BFFs made sure to keep their distance at Cîroc Presents Bootsy Bellows at the Liquid Cellar in New York City. “They sat at separate tables across the room from each other and did not interact once,” a partygoer tells E! News exclusively. “They avoided each other completely.”
Other famous attendees included Mike Comrie , Zachary Levi, Terrell Owens and Geoff Stults .
Hilton held court at a table with her model boyfriend, River Viiperi .
Lohan, meanwhile, “sat with a group of young guys,” the partygoer says, noting that the Mean Girls movie star stayed sober. “There was booze on her table, but she wasn’t drinking. She actually looked really good and seemed fresh and alert. She was in great spirits and spent a lot of time sharing photos on her cell phone with friends.”
In an August 2013 Oprah’s Next Chapter interview, Lohan admitted that “alcohol” had been her drug of choice in previous years. “That, in the past, was a gateway to other things for me,” she explained.
While it doesn’t appear that Hilton will be making amends with Lohan anytime soon, she has rekindled her relationship with childhood pal Nicole Richie . The former Simple Life costars posed for a picture during Art Basel in December 2013, and the #CandidlyNicole star reminisced about their reality TV days in Marie Claire Mexico . “Paris has been part of my life since I was 2 years old,” Richie told the fashion magazine. “There’s a strong friendship between our families and we’ll always know each other.”
Lindsay Lohan announced a new movie at the Sundance Film Festival on Monday.
The actress will produce and star in Inconceivable, described as a psychological thriller.
No director or other cast members are attached yet, although the project is supposed to begin filming in March.
The movie’s financial backer, Randall Emmett , called Lohan “one of the greatest young actresses of her generation.”
She was mostly recently in The Canyons on the big screen, and will soon be on television with her reality series on Oprah Winfrey ’s OWN network.
Get ready for Lindsay . Lindsay Lohan’s self-titled reality show will debut on OWN, that’s Oprah Winfrey’s TV network, on Sunday, March 9 at 10 p.m.
The “documentary series” directed by Emmy nominee Amy Rice follows LiLo on her “journey through recovery following a very public period of crisis,” the official press release says.
Look for the Mean Girls star to be “strikingly candid” about her life and struggles to get back on her feet. Cameras will follow Lohan as she returns to New York and reunites with friends and family all the while attempting to build her new life while living in the spotlight.
OWN promises LiLo will open up as never before, “discussing everything from her emotional recovery process to her exhausting run-ins with the paparazzi.”
Lindsay Lohan ’s computer was stolen, and she wants it back.
On Tuesday, the actress tweeted, “It was great to be in China and I want to thank everyone for their hospitality, however someone has stolen my computer at the airport… offering a reward for anyone who can retrieve and rtn it, bummer to go home w/o it. xo L.”
Lohan attended the Sohu Fashion Achievement Awards in Shanghai on Monday.
She is not the first star to have electronics stolen and tweet about it.
Hopefully, a Good Samaritan comes through for Lohan.
