Cher ‘mostly’ admires Lady Gaga

Cher likes Lady Gaga’s songs “for the most part”.
The singing legend is currently promoting her latest album Closer to the Truth. Cher’s duet with Gaga failed to make the final cut because the younger star didn’t like the finished result, with Cher admitting music is a very personal thing.
“I like Rihanna’s music a lot and I think you can’t get better than Adele. I like what Gaga’s songs say for the most part and how she presents herself. She’s very creative and strong,” she told Heat magazine.
The 67-year-old is amazed by how much has changed since she started out in the industry, although she tries to embrace new things. Among those is social networking, with Cher a prolific user of Twitter. She enjoys interacting with fans and other stars but thinks it is up to musicians to ensure their admirers don’t go too far.
“I don’t like it when all the Little Monsters [Lady Gaga fans] come
down on me, I think young artists don’t realise that you have to support one another and there no room for b***hing,” she explained.
“Women stand together and so do artists. You might fight if you don’t like someone but you still have to support them.”
Cher didn’t expect to have another album out following her last release in 2001, Living Proof. She loves her work, but is careful to always make time for fun too.
“I’ve partied a lot in my life – I still like it but don’t get a chance to do it much. I go out to dinner with my friends but it’s too hard to go dancing. I was at this club the other night and had so much fun but there was no room on the dancefloor so I danced where I was,” she laughed.

Bieber and Miley’s ‘outrageous’ plan

Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus are reportedly planning “an outrageous duet”.
The Canadian singer and American star have both been going through some personal issues recently. Justin has been slammed for his diva-like behaviour, including urinating in a bin and forcing his bodyguards to carry him to see The Great Wall of China.
Miley’s outrageous antics have also landed her in the headlines. As well as splitting from her fiancé Liam Hemsworth, she danced provocatively at the recent MTV VMA Awards and has had to deny she is pregnant.
The pair are friends and are reportedly leaning on each other for support.
“Justin reached out to say that she needs to loosen up and have fun,” an insider told Heat magazine. “They’re bonding over their career backlashes and talking almost every night. They’re even considering an outrageous duet.”
Miley and Justin have known each other for years and have been seen out partying in Hollywood together.
Miley, 20, recently admitted she worries about the life choices her 19-year-old friend has been making.
“I’m not much older than him, so I never want it to feel like I’m mentoring him. But I do mentor him in a way.
Because I’ve been doing this sh*t for a long time, and I already transitioned, and I don’t think he’s quite done it yet,” she told Rolling Stone.
“I just don’t want to see him f**k that up, to where people think he’s Vanilla Ice. I tell him that. Like, ‘You don’t want to become a joke.
When you go out, don’t start sh*t. Don’t come in shirtless.'”

Simon Cowell has big plans for Rita Ora

Simon Cowell reportedly thinks Rita Ora has “global star power”.
The music mogul has sparked speculation he wants the British
singer to join The X Factor US after she was spotted having a meeting with him last week. He is known to have approached her about the UK version of the programme and it’s now claimed he is determined to propel her into superstar status.
“Simon knows global star power when he sees it,” a source told Heat magazine.
“He loves that Rita hangs out with people like Cara Delevingne, Harry Styles and Kate Moss – and Madonna loves her. Even her supposed rivalry with Rihanna is interesting. He thinks that if she’s marketed right she can become a huge worldwide star.”
At the moment Simon is joined on The X Factor US panel by Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio. Although things are going well, he’s famed for mixing things up and apparently wonders if Rita could help boost the programme.
“He is always looking for the next big thing to keep his shows relevant. He tried that with… Britney [who was] a disappointment and Cheryl [Cole] didn’t work in America. But he thinks that Rita
could be just the kind of hot young star he needs to lift the show,” the insider explained.

Zayn’s record boast

Zayn Malik has promised One Direction’s next album will be “sick”.
The 20-year-old makes up one fifth of the popular boyband alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne.
So far their records Up All Night and Take Me Home have gone down well with fans and Zayn promises nothing will change with the upcoming Midnight Memories.
“our 3rd Album is going to be SICK! (sic)” he boasted to his Twitter followers.
He also teased by attaching an incomplete track list, which only gave away that there will be 14 songs, including hit single Best Song Ever.
While it might seem like the boys have enough on their plate already, they recently revealed they’d be happy to branch out even further.
‘We know about Bollywood life and would be glad to do a number for any Bollywood film,” they told Hindustan Times.
‘We recently got to know that Kolkata had a big special screening of This Is Us; they all went mad over it.
‘We know Indians love us a lot and we plan to extend our gratitude to them soon, maybe during the next album launch in coming months.’
As well as promoting documentary This Is Us, One Direction have been busy with their Take Me Home tour.
Not seeing their friends and family regularly can be a struggle for the young stars.
‘We regret being away from home. We know our family likes to be with us, but work keeps us busy. But we make sure we spend time with them,’ they said.

Elton ‘plays Cupid for Gaga and Depp’

Sir Elton John is reportedly convinced Johnny Depp and Lady Gaga will be the next power couple.
The British singer is close friends with Gaga, who is godmother to his sons Zachary, two, and eight-month-old Elijah. He apparently recently invited the flamboyant singer out for a meal under the pretence of discussing work, but brought Hollywood icon Johnny
along too in the hope sparks would fly.
‘Elton was determined to hook up Johnny and Gaga,’ an insider told
National Enquirer. ‘While the meeting was under the guise of a future musical collaboration, Elton is convinced the two superstars would make an amazing power couple even though they’re both
dating other people right now.’
Johnny is romancing Amber Heard at the moment, while Gaga has been dating Taylor Kinney for two years.
The two stars apparently got along well while with Elton, who took them to West Hollywood restaurant Craig’s at the end of last month.
‘Johnny and Gaga hit it off immediately,’ the source claimed. ‘They bonded over music, flirted a little and basically got to know each other. By the end of the night, they’d already made plans to see
each other again. Elton just sat there grinning.
‘He thinks Johnny and Gaga are destined to be together.’
Elton apparently believes Taylor is too immature for Gaga, although it’s unknown why.
Although Elton and Gaga have been close for years, he recently hinted there have been some problems in their relationship. She has been focusing on the release of her third record ARTPOP this year, so hasn’t always had time for her friends.
‘I’d like to be able to talk to her right now, but I can’t get through to her,’ Elton previously admitted. ‘And there are times when you have to listen. When your persona begins to take over your music and becomes more important, you enter a dangerous place. Once you
have people around you who don’t question you, you’re in a dangerous place.’

Selena Gomez Settles Perfume Lawsuit: Report

Selena Gomez has reportedly settled a lawsuit filed by a perfume company that claimed she violated an endorsement
deal.
The singer-actress was sued by Adrenalina, which alleges that Gomez was supposed to be the face of a fragrance line it spent $2 million developing.
Gomez filed a countersuit, claiming the company was going broke and was unable to produce the perfume.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the two sides have now settled the dispute — and Gomez will pay a six-figure amount to resolve the issue.
Neither party has commented officially.

Rihanna Alleged Trespasser Arrested, Reportedly Same Man Who Tried to Burglarize Singer

A man was arrested for allegedly trespassing at Rihanna ’s California home on Friday, and he’s reportedly the same individual who attempted to burglarize her estate earlier this week.
As i previously reported, the singer was the victim of a burglary attempt on Sunday when a person threw a chair through a back door of her Pacific Palisades mansion.
The suspect stopped his break-in and took off when Rihanna’s alarm sounded — only to reportedly RETURN to the
property on Friday morning.
This time the performer’s security reportedly caught the man allegedly scaling a wall surrounding the estate, leading to his arrest when police arrived.
Security footage is said to have confirmed he is the culprit in both incidents, and police have booked him on a burglary charge.
According to TMZ, the alleged perpetrator is a 27-year-old male who claims he is friends with the star.
Rihanna was not home during either incident.

Indeed, the reality star couldn’t wait to see her baby girl after her travels! After returning home, Kardashian shared a second photo of North via Instagram. “I missed waking up with my little angel,” she wrote on Oct 4.
Alongside the caption, the blonde beauty shared a photo of baby North swaddled and resting on what appears to be a white fur throw.

Red is the new pink! Pink flaunted her stunning toned body while vacationing in Mexico on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
The “Raise Your Glass” singer looked gorgeous and slim as she sported a red and white polka dot bikini that showed off her abs and rock solid legs.
The 34-year-old entertainer took some time off to catch some sun rays during the outing, and relaxed poolside.
