Austin gets love advice from Taylor

Austin Mahone has received some lessons in love from Taylor Swift.
The 17-year-old opened for Taylor at a number of her shows on her Red concert tour this summer. The two became close and have remained good friends, with Taylor telling him what kind of girls to look for.
Austin was clearly blown away by Taylor, both for her personality and her talent. The young pop star says Taylor has become a mentor to him.
‘She told me to find a good girl that’s not crazy, and has morals.
‘She’s gorgeous. She’s super talented, nice, she puts on an amazing, two-hour show,’ Austin gushed. ‘I don’t get bored watching it. I can learn a lot from that. She’s incredible,’ Austin gushed to OK!

Austin was rumoured to be seeing singer and Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello, but he says the reports are not true.
While he and Camila are friends, Austin insists he isn’t seeing anyone right now which is probably why Taylor offered up her advice.
‘I met her once at the Arthur Ashe event [in August],’ he said. ‘She’s a cool girl, very nice, but we’re not dating. I’m single.’
However, Austin knows what he’s looking for when it comes to any potential girlfriends.
As well as not being too tall, she has to develop a good relationship with his mother the teen star has confessed.
‘I like a girl that’s shorter than me, because when she wears heels, I don’t want her to tower over me, and me look all short,’ he said.
‘Also, my mom would have to like her because my mom has been there with me. Since the start, it’s been me and her, so it’s important.’
Austin’s debut album is set for release in December.

Avril’s expensive wedding gifts

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger reportedly registered for over $36,000 in wedding gifts.
The singer and her rocker husband recently married in the South of France.
And according to Celebuzz, guests were directed to upscale Geary’s of Beverly Hills to purchase items including goblets and gold-dipped cutlery for the happy couple.
The website reports monogrammed Chamart dinner plates and tea cups to match Avril’s wedding gown were listed at $19,000.
There was also gold-dipped cutlery from Christofle that came out at $188 to $326 per item, as well as Moser crystal gilded gold flutes at $615 each and 16 pewter chalices at $185, the outlet claims.
Two silver serving trays were reportedly listed for $225 and $327.50 a piece.
There were apparently a few items for those with lighter pockets.
Gold placemats at $18.50 each were reportedly the cheapest items on the list, while the $410 gold goblets are apparently still available.
Avril and Chad exchanged vows July 1 after a whirlwind courtship.
The couple got engaged after collaborating last year on her forthcoming album, and Avril credits music with bringing them together.
‘So working with Chad was awesome because I found a husband and that was the best thing that came out of the experience,” she recently told MTV News.
Avril’s self-titled fifth studio album is scheduled for release
November 5.

Selena Gomez fears she could end up a “cat lady”

The 21-year-old singer had dated fellow popstar Justin Bieber on and off since 2010, but they called time on their relationship at the end of last year.
Since then it’s thought Selena has been single, which is starting to worry the pretty brunette.
“Spending time with my cousin and her man… #3rdwheel #singleladyproblems #futurecatlady #werk (sic),” she posted on Instagram.
The singer-and-actress attached a picture of her cousin looking lovingly at her beau, who was grinning broadly.
It’s thought Justin’s alleged flirting with Victoria’s Secret models at the lingerie brand’s catwalk show last year played its part in the couple splitting.
The Baby singer also seems to be staying single and is focusing on promoting his new songs.
“i make music to express myself. thank you for listening and letting me tell my heart. #MusicMonday #AllThatMatters #1 again! thanks (sic),” he tweeted.
She might be riding solo, but there is someone Selena has her eye on.
The star recently revealed she has a crush on 26-year-old rapper Drake, who she refers to in private as her “baby”.
“I’m like, ‘Awww [Drake] did that for me,’ when it’s like, he did it on Twitter,” Selena giggled. “I’m like, ‘My baby did that for me!”
Selena might be pining for a relationship, but the singer has a packed diary thanks to her Stars Dance Tour.
She’s currently performing in North America, with the shows ending in Auburn Hills in November.

Miley ‘obsessed with new beau’

Miley Cyrus is apparently ‘completely in lust’ with her new beau.
The 20-year-old star only recently split from her fiancé Liam Hemsworth, but it seems she has already moved on. According to insiders, Miley is smitten with Rolling Stone magazine heir Theo
Wenner.
‘She’s definitely dating him,’ an insider told RadarOnline. ‘Miley talks about how hot Theo is and how nice he’s been to her. She’s definitely completely in lust with him.’
It has been claimed that although the relationship is casual at the moment, Miley is in touch with Theo several times a day.
The singer-and-actress is apparently so eager to spend time with the new man in her life that she even left the New York City release party for her new album Bangerz early last week so she could see him.
‘He didn’t come to the release party, but she snuck out at one point and went and met him at The Plaza,’ an insider said. ‘She said she’s never met anyone as sweet as Theo.’
Theo is said to be spoiling Miley with romantic gestures, and sent her an impressive bunch of flowers while she was at the release party.
The 26-year-old photographer previously dated actress Liv Tyler.
Last month, Miley took to Twitter to quell pregnancy rumours circulating about her.
Reports surfaced that she told the audience at the BET Hip Hop Awards that she was expecting a baby with rapper Juicy J. There was also speculation that Miley had a pregnancy scare with former fiancé Liam.
Along with Juicy J and Theo, Miley has also been recently romantically linked to record producer Mike WiLL.
She has insisted there is no chance of reconciliation with Liam, calling their relationship a ‘closed chapter’.

Drake in new rapper beef

Drake is apparently embroiled in a $1.5 million feud with his rapper support act.
The musician had hired 29-year-old hip-hop star Future to accompany him and Miguel on his series of Would You like a Tour? shows.
However, Future reportedly compromised his position as a support act by speaking badly of the Take Care singer’s latest album, Nothing Was the Same.
Billboard editor Erika Ramirez tweeted comments allegedly made by the rapper.
“‘Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do.’ – Future (sic),” she wrote.
According to New York Post, Drake demanded Future was kicked off the tour.
‘He told his agent either Future gets fired, or he’ll fire him,’ a source told Page Six.
Future is apparently set to file a lawsuit against Drake this week, as he was set to earn around $40,000 per show, which totals about $ 1.5 million over the 39-date tour.
Following Erika’s tweets, Future’s managers argued his comments were made off the record and taken out of context.
While the online story was apparently edited, her posts on Twitter were not removed.
New York Post tried to reach reps for both musicians, but neither had a comment.
A Billboard rep said: ‘We regret that miscommunication surrounding Future’s recent visit, one that seemed clear to us was on the record, may have caused any trouble for the artist.’
It’s not the first time Drake has had beef with a fellow rapper.
He was previously involved in a rivalry with Chris Brown, said to be over Rihanna, which ended in a violent brawl.
However, Drake and Chris are said to have buried the hatchet and are apparently even planning a musical collaboration.

Rihanna goes wild

Rihanna spent her first day in Cape Town going wild at the aquarium.
The singer is currently on her Diamonds World Tour and travelled to the South African city after playing in Johannesburg Sunday.
The Stay hitmaker was joined by her mother, aunt and other family members and filled up her Instagram newsfeed Monday with a series of strange poses of herself with animals as she documented their trip.
“Aquarium visit with the fam today in Cape Town, good times,” she captioned a shot of herself on a balcony above images of the Atlantic Ocean.
In a more bizarre image, she posed in a black and white outfit next to a penguin.
“B***h stole my look,” Rihanna mused.
“G’d up crab,” she captioned another image of herself with a giant crustacean.
Rihanna’s social media feeds have become subject to increased scrutiny in recent weeks after it was revealed an Instagram photo she posted of herself posing with a protected primate known as the slow loris led to the arrest of two men in Phuket last month.
According to the Associated Press, just this week a sex show owner in the city was charged with obscenity and operating an entertainment venue without a permit after Rihanna referenced a venue that was allegedly operating illegally.
The singer has not commented publicly about the arrests.
Rihanna is scheduled to play in Johannesburg Wednesday night before travelling to the Middle East and North America, where she will wrap the tour.
The star’s last show on the trek will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana November 15.

Wendy Williams vs Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Raymond

She paid her ex a compliment and Wendy read too much meaning into it. So here’s what happened. Usher is on the cover of the latest issue of Men’s
Health magazine, and a few days ago his ex-wife Tameka tweeted a picture from the spread with the caption ‘…well dizzzzam Usher!’ and made sure to @ him so he would see the message.(You will find the pic below) well, Wendy felt the tweet was inappropriate and took Tameka to task on her show

On her Hot Topics segment Wendy explained,
“Here’s the thing Tameka. Which way is it gonna be? Are we hiring a lawyer and going after him to fight for our kids? Or do we wanna jump back in bed with him? See that’s why they said you need an evaluation. I’m just saying. You don’t play.
Mothers know. Women know. You don’t play when it comes to your kids. You’re not going to talk about him looking scrump.
What you need to be doing is you need to be hunting down a team of lawyers, at least two, and a private eye. Tameka, just focus on what’s important.”
Tameka fired back at Wendy on twitter.

OC Ukeje gets brand new Nissan car for winning Best Actor at NMA

Nollywood actor OC Ukeje was the lucky winner of a brand new Nissan car for winning the Best Actor award at the Nollywood Movies Awards which held on Saturday October 12th. Rita Dominic,
who won the Best Actress award was also supposed to get something but the organizers didn’t make public what she won. Big congrats to OC. I hear he is a fantastic actor!
